Layouts

Yesterday I was visiting a friend (a fabulous crafter and the maker of this blog. We had a wonderful day with crafting and talking. Sollan, I love you! :)

So these 2 layouts I came up with. First, a layout of one of my cats, named Felix. When he was a kitten, he found a shoebox in my craftroom, that he liked to lay in. As he grew bigger, the box became increasingly tighter for him, until it broke altoghether. However, he never seemed to get the connection of himself growing bigger, he probably thought I made the box smaller...

The next layout is a photo from our Christmas-celebrations in the 80:s. Weird, you think?! Well, there's a story to it, of course: My uncle had put 2 enormous, heavy parcels under the Christmas-tree, destined to myself and my sister. We were very curious and intrigued to as what it would be inside. And it turned out that he had put in some pice of wood and then a bag of potatoe-chips in each of them... He's very funny, my uncle...

And here she is! At this very moment she is excited about a ribbon that was the exact right colour, hence the funny looking expression... And hmmm, don't look at the almost empty candy-bowl. We did NOT eat it all - her family took more than half! ;)

And tomorrow it's time to get back to work again, after having one week off... Feels strange!

Cat-scrapping!

I have made a few layouts lately! Two of them are of my lovely cats. This first one is of Sixten and his sister Signe. They were always so cuddly and cute with each other. Then one day, Signe was hit by a car and we had to decide to take her away. It was such a hard decision!

About two years after Signe was taken away from us, we decided to get another cat to keep Sixten company. We found this little fellow, his name was Felix and this is his first Christmas. He was so happy to lie under the Christmas-tree with all the Christmas-gifts! Then two years ago, he just disappeared. We think he must have been hit by a car or something like that. It's sad, though... Now we only have Sixten left and I think we will keep it that way, He and Felix never got along very well anyway...

Scrap-day

London 2005

Precious Mom

Last week I had a day off from work and I spent it with my very dear friend Sollan. I don't scrapbook very often, but I do have a small album in the size of 6x6" and since Sollan is a great scrapper and a huge inspiration, I thought I would do some LOs while I was there. Here above are 2 of the LOs that I made during that day. I had great fun, and I will try to scrapbook more often! Theank you Sollan for the inspiration, input and also the embellishments you let me steal from you! ;)

The one at the top is showing pics of when M and I were in London in November 2005. The other one is a tribute to my mom, she is the best mom ever!

Scrapbooking

Last weekend, I visited my sister in Oslo, Norway. She had turned 40 and I had created a little scrap-book album with 16 pages for her, with pictures from our child-hood. It was a lot of work but she really appreciated it, so it was well worth while!

Down below are some of the layouts I gave her...

"Klellell" is what I used to call her when we were kids. I am only 15 months older, so I wasn't able to pronounce her name "Christina" very well...

Her and me both at our grandparent's house

The house where we grew up - well, at least until I was 13!

Celebrating Lucia...

Christina's birthday, she got a new bicycle and of course we had to get out in our nighties to try it!

My goodness, we were soooo happy with our new hair-do's! (I'm the one to the left)

Last day in school before the summer-break and we were all dressed up! Fancy shoes as well, eh?

Layout!

It's not often that I do layouts for my scrapbook-album, but here's one that I made tonight! It's a picture of the first time my mom met her new grandson, that is, my son Gustav... I really like the picture, there is so much love!
