Awards!

Wow, I've got awards from 2 of my friends! Thanks so much, ladies! It really warms my heart!
This first one was given to me by Hanna and Åsa! And this second one was given to me by Nina!

The rules for both of these awards is that I should pay them forward to blogs that I like. Well, I have to admit that I have a HUGE blog-roll and I am pretty sure you know who you are, since I often leave comments. So, I want to give the both to all of you! Please feel free to take them off my blog and pay them forward!

Bookmark-deco

Now, it's been a while since I last posted here. It's not that I haven't been crafting, it's just not something I wanted to put on display...
But today I created a "Bookmark"-deco for a group-swap in Yahoo. The thing about this is that when I send it to my "partner" in this swap, she will decorate one of the tags and turn it into a bookmark. She will then put it back in the pocket, send it further on and this repeats until all the tags are decorated. Then it's supposed to be returned home to me and I will have 6 new, handmade bookmarks! Isn't that a great thought! I just hopehopehope it won't get stuck somewhere!

Christmas is over...

Christmas is over for this year, but I still have some Christmas-cards to show you. These will be the last ones though, I promise!
Christmas has been calm and quiet this year. On Christmas Eve Gustav was at his dad's place, so there were only myself, Mats and his mom here then. And the cats, of course! Gustav came yesterday eventing, and today we have been out shopping at the sales. A top for me and a couple of computer-games for Gustav. We're all happy!

Christening-card

These days I mostly make Christmas-cards, but yesterday we went to my niece's christening, and of course I had to make her a card as well! This is what I came up with, and I must say I am pretty satisfied with how it turned out! I didn't want to make the ordinary pink, girlie card, so I made this green, red and gold one.

Other than that, I must confess that I am a little tired now. LOTS to do at home before Christmas and I am also work-training. It's pretty stressful, but I try to keep it out and just take it as easy as possible. One step at the time, trying not to get too stressed...

Christmas-card and job-application

Here's another Christmas-card! I still have lots to make, don't know why I didn't make them sooner as I said I would...
This picture doesn't do the card justice - really! The white back-ground paper is all glittery IRL, so it makes you think of snow and winter... You just have to use your imagination!
A good and fun thing now: I've applied for a job! I'm still work-training and it's going really well, but the travels back and forth are killing me! The travels add another 3 hours per day! So if I hadn't have to travel as far, I would be able to do more hours, I'm sure! So now I've applied for a REAL job with salary! And the work-place is so much closer to home... Don't know if the'll even consider me since I've been on sick-leave for so long, but... It's worth a try! I'll keep you updated!

Vintage Christmas and Inkido blog-candy

I'm sorry for the bad quality of the pic above. My scanner gave up on me just now - hopefully it can be fixed, but now I had to take a photo of the decosquare I wanted to show you, and the light-conditions aren't that great at the moment. Well, you get the idea anyway! It is a Vintage Christmas decosquare I made for a friend in one of my groups. It's a pretty simple design, but I didn't want any fuss to take away attention from the picture, which I think is beautiful.
By the way, one of my favourite companies here in Sweden - "Inkido" is having a blogcandy-giveaway on their blog! Go and see if you can win also!

Stamp- and scrap convent in Västerås

Here's a picture from the Stamp- and Scrap convent I attended last Saturday! There were LOTS and LOTS of people who sat down to just craft! I think we must have been over a hundred persons there... There were both cardmakers and scrappers. I had such a blast!

Here's one of the cards I made. The stamp is from the welcoming goodie-bag that all of us got, since we paid to be there. I don't think it had been my first choice if I could choose myself, but I kind of like it. It's funny! Obviously, this is a Christmas-card!

And here's another Christmas-card I made for one of the challenges during the day. It should be a Christmas-card in Blue and silver. I didn't win, but I'm pretty happy with it anyway. Can you see the trail that leads up to the bowl of porridge?
