These days I mostly make Christmas-cards, but yesterday we went to my niece's christening, and of course I had to make her a card as well! This is what I came up with, and I must say I am pretty satisfied with how it turned out! I didn't want to make the ordinary pink, girlie card, so I made this green, red and gold one.

Here's a picture from the Stamp- and Scrap convent I attended last Saturday! There were LOTS and LOTS of people who sat down to just craft! I think we must have been over a hundred persons there... There were both cardmakers and scrappers. I had such a blast!
A special-ordered card for my friend Caroline at work. Her daughter just received her drivers-licence and Caroline wanted to thank the person who taught her to drive. So I made a thank-you card with a Bella-car stamp! And guess what? She was so pleased with the card and showed it to "everybody" at work, and they thought I should make a few and put in a box in the lunch-room, for sale! That's flattering! I guess I will give it a try, and make some... :o)

The second card is the first Christmas-card of the year!! Both the back-groupd paper and the picture are from Crafty Individuals, they are soooo beautiful! The ribbon and the triangle-paper are both bought at Timarii.
Yesterday I started working again! Well, it's actually work-training, but it can lead to work in the long run. It's at my old job and it feels sooooo good to be back! I've really missed my colleagues and the daily chit-chat! To begin with, I will only work 10 hours a week and it will be Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 10-14 (with a little break for lunch in the middle). And later on I will increase the hours and take upon more responsibility etc. And eventually, I might work there for REAL again!
OK, the card above is one I made for a friend who had her birthday earlier this month. I was really happy with the card. The heart was made by using my new coluzzle - that I bought from a sale I bumped into in France! Hope you liked the card as well!

My blog has got over 5000 visitors! That is something I will have to celebrate with some blog-candy! If you leave a comment on THIS post - Sunday night 23,59 at the latest, then you can win this cat-stamp (see above). I have got 2, so the one I will give away is unused. It's from HeroArt and it's mounted on wood. I will also toss in some nice papers... Go ahead and take a chance!
Yes, another card! I'm in a flow right now, LOL! Can you tell that I like this colour-combo? it's my favourite one right now...
This one I made for a friend who turned 40 in July. We were invited to her birthday-party last Saturday. The stamp is from Reprint (I think) and the design is made by my dear friend Maria (pointing over to my friends blogs), isn't it lovely!? I coloured it with ProMarkers. The tags I punched out using my QK Squeeze, and on one of the tags I put "40" and on the other I put "år", which means "years". At first I intended to put Sophie there, but the tags were too small... The paper... oh my gosh, I can't remember where that is from! Sorry!
Today my head feels like it's a little too big and I just want to go to bed (will do that in a minute), but first I wanted to show you a birthday-card I made the other week. I am participating in a birthday-swap in a Swedish forum, and this card I made for a lady who's birthday is in August, and sent it together with a little present. The photo is not too good I'm afraid, I have to practice that... But you get the idea! The stamp I used is from Penny Black, it's so cute!

Now I'm back from vacation! As usual we had a car-vacation and this year we headed to France. We focused mainly on Normandy and visited lots of war-museums and cemeteries from the WW2. Kind of depressing, but very good to see! At the end of the trip we went to Paris for 3 days, which was as nice as always!
This card I made today for a friend that doesn't feel too well. I hope this will cheer her up a little. As usual it looks better IRL, the ribbon is with a fringe and it looks adorable IRL, here it just looks weird, LOL! The text below says "Get well soon, my friend" in Swedish.
Sorry for being absent lately! I've been working on my thesis for the university, and yesterday I got it approved, finally! it's been sooo much hard work, so i'm really relieved that it's over and done with!
This is a Scrap Layout I made when I visited a scrap-meeting with some friends a while ago. The photos are of my grandpa - the small one is when he was in his thirties - a handsome man, don't you think? And the bigger one is taken about 15 years ago, I think. He is still with us, even though he is 97 years old! His body is giving up on him, though... I'm thankful for everyday I can talk to him!
I intended to upload a new deco here, but my scanner said he wasn't up for it tonight... Hm... I hope it's just a minor problem!
We have winter again, here in Sweden! All winter months have passed, and we didn't get much snow - the kids couldn't go skiing or bob-sleighing, so the winter sucked for them! And now, when we want spring and Easter has passed, we get snow... And cold! The temperature is close to zero or below (in Celsius - in Farenheit it's below 30). We don't like this at all...
Today it's been a lovely weather here - sunny and nice! I've made the terrace nice - wiped off the table, put on a cloth, put cushions on the sofa and the chairs and also a rag rug on the floor. It looks so nice, i hope the weather will be good tomorrow as well, so i can sit there and write letters!
Tomorrow my aunt will turn 60, so I made this card to her and will send it today. Isn't she cute, the Bella-stamp?! The tag at the side says "Helena 60 år" and I tied a nice white ribbon at the back of the card.
Yesterday I hurt my back. I was sitting on a bench at the sports-center, watching Gustav play land-hockey for an hour. When I got up the back just "snapped" - aouch! It hurts! My stepdad (who is a chiropractor) told me it's lumbago... So I'd better keep still as much as possible. *sigh*

This is a "Celtic" deco that I made for one of the groups I'm member in. The colours are a little clearer in reality - it's reddish and a little green... I'm pretty happy with it!
Happy New Year everybody out there! I wish you the best for this new one!
This deco is a "Choose the theme for the next signer"-deco! I thought it was a fun idea, and I'm quite pleased with the deco itself. It's very symmetric (yeah, I'm big on symmetry, can you tell?) but still a little different with the ribbon and the bow across...
The new year I celebrated at Mats' place. Not that we did anything in particular though - he cooked a delicious meal, we had some wine and watched TV. But that's the kind of New Year's Eve I like! I know I might be a bore, but I'm proud of it! LOL!
When I got home after 2 days, Felix (the youngest cat, 7 months old) was soooooo pissed! I didn't talk to me the whole evening, but then at night he couldn't be close enough... It was like I had been gone for 2 weeks or months, not 2 days! (The neighbours gave the cats food, so they didn't have to starve, and they have their own entrance as well)
